Sharon Fong

Sharon Fong has a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Violin Performance from Trinity Western University. Over the years she has been part of many different chamber ensembles and orchestral groups. She has had the pleasure of premiering her fellow friends and classmates’ newly composed music with the New Music Ensemble at TWU (an interesting combination of violin, piano, cello, flute, clarinet, and percussion) and piano trios (Ignis and Trinity Western Trio). Sharon has experience competing in Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival in the Chamber Group division, Provincial Festival of Performing Arts BC Chamber Group with TWU Trio, and competing in the Solo and Orchestra division in the Kiwanis Music Festival. She has also had the pleasure of playing as a soloist for TWU Orchestra and leading as concertmaster. Although Sharon has experience and a degree in performing, her passion lies more in teaching. She loves working with children and enjoys watching her students grow.
