Erica Chung
Piano Instructor
Erica Chung is a piano teacher, a pianist, and a singer. She started playing the piano at the age of six in Korea. At the age of 11, she moved to Canada with her family. Erica completed RCM level 10 when she was in high school and was classically trained. She played the keyboard for her high school’s version of the musical Les Miserables. Erica holds a Music Performance Diploma from Douglas College, where she studied Classical Piano with Barrie Barrington and Voice with Eric Hannon. She won several Kiwanis and Richmond festivals. She studied 2 years at Douglas College then she transferred to Trinity Western University. At TWU, she studied piano with Betty Suderman. Erica has been teaching the piano for more than 5 years. She builds strong relationships with students and leads them to succeed in music education. Erica strives to see her student enjoying the piano and achieving their musical goals.
