Jitterbugs Music Lessons

(For 2-Year-Olds)

Jitterbugs provides two-year-old children with the opportunity to be immersed in a musical world, often for the first time.

If you have a two-year old, you’re know all too well the level of energy they have bundled up inside them. It can be hard to sit still without something to focus on. Music provides an excellent opportunity for toddlers of this age to be introduced to the exciting world of music, giving them something fun to do among kids their own age.

Jitterbugs is a group program that gives kids space to listen, learn, and dance to music. The program includes singing original and known favourites, percussion, actions to songs, movement to music, and musical craft relating to the lesson topic. Kids will be able to sing and dance their heart away while forming early social skills in an environment that’s positive, welcoming, and friendly.

If your child isn’t used to social situations without a parent or guardian around, Jitterbugs is an excellent program to help open them up. In the Jitterbugs program, parents move into a partner role, sharing the experience with the child. There is a greater emphasis on fine motor control and pre-reading activities.

We require that a parent or guardian attend the class with their toddler. This often encourages greater participation so that your little one can get the most out of the program.

Jitterbugs classes happen once per week for 30 minutes each, at a cost of $13 per class. To register for the next Jitterbugs class, click the button below:
