Yera Chun
Piano Instructor
Yera Chun is a classically trained pianist. She started playing the piano at the age of seven in Korea. At the age of 14, she moved to Kenya with her family as missionaries, where she continued her private piano studies. She completed ABRSM level 8 for piano when she was in high school. In an international school in Kenya, she accompanied the school’s choir for 2 years and joined the orchestra in their musicals, which are “Annie,” “In the Heights,” and “Imaginary.”
She graduated from TWU (Trinity Western University) in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
She is passionate about teaching her students and helping them to find joy in learning music while improving their musical skills. She wants to share her love for music and find the diversity and delightfulness of music. She believes music is a source of joy in students’ lives.
